I think this is off topic but hopefully someone out there can help. I have an old Mazak QT 25C Chucker Lathe. I have reached the memories limit for the amount of programs I can have. I'm looking for a cheap way to transfer programs to and from the machine to a PC. I donj't want to program offlinbe, just store programs. Thanks for any help in advance. Brian.

It's possible to extend the memory in software by O parameter, BUT you have to have option card for this /for example QX-429 has 1.5MB), and after that you have to an initialization. If you are seriously interested then you should call Mazak service guys from your area.

Do you have MICRODISK or FLOOPY?

I don't have either, only a CMT PTP PTR port.

I use Griffo Bros. for storing programs off the machine. It works well.
