I am trying to import tool holder data from tool manufactures and am not having any luck can someone give me some direction.

i would check the manuals first but in general tool info would need to be stored in a folder, on a floppy or USB, otherwise control won't find it

I have tried this but couldn't get it to work . even with a Mazak applications guy standing right next to me. and because I couldn't get it to work I never use the solid or "cartoon mode".if its possible please let us know the exact way of doing it,

It may require an option. Our QTN250 and QTN350 have the same software but the 350 had to have models added for Sub machining. The 250 does not have the menu where these show up on the 350. The models are parasolid *.X_T v17.1 exported from solidworks plus two support files.

These came form Mazak so I'm not sure what would have to be done to ad your own beside making it match as best as possible.
