Circle milling a hole on 45 deg having to hold depth using maz program.
Tool length comp is not working on this machine in tool data?? Im changing tool length now to get by any ideas?

I wanted to see if someone knows how to fix this as well.

When we are running in cycle milling our position screen shows the tools
actual pos. When we hit reset it loses the reading in the position numbers
then throws some other numbers up. Iv messed with some prameters trying but no luck..

We have a Matrix controlled Integrex 100ST with the same problem. We have another 100ST and a 300ST with the Matrix control that do not have this problem. Mazak has not been able to tell us why.

Look into the maintenance folder on the C drive of your Matrix control for the parameter viewing program. It allows you to look at all the parameters from your backups, more importantly, it allows you to caompare the parameters from 2 different files, or machines.

If you save the parameters from one machine to the USB stick (say the one that works the way you would like) and then load that into another machine that doesn't work. You can run the viewer from that machine and compare it to those on the USB stick. Make a note of any of the parameters that are different and go look them up. You'll likely find an RB parameter or something that is different that none of your documentation will tell you what the parameter is for. Play with the parametrs that are different. Some of the changes are obvious and for well defined reasons. Others are more of a crap shoot but mysteriously things work properly afterwards. More often than not the difference will point you to a parameter that was changed during a software update, upgrade, etc.

We had issues to where our tool length offset was not working on our
IDX e410 turns out that there is a softwear upgrade for this.
They came and loaded it up works great.... Just FYI
