The bug that makes our machine ignore the index line at top program still exists. ( this caused a huge crash a couple years ago ) It is easy to re-create error so we know it is a bug in controller and not program / operator problem.Anyone that runs an 1850V will now the problem you will have if the index line is ignored . The Z moves straight from the toolchange position in a straight line to the position tool is going to machine. as the tool change position is below table level the stragiht line move is through the table , through the job . Mazak have told us there are no software updates for these machines. |
