Matrix 200IV S

We have the autodoor option and wonder if there's a paramter to adjust the number of beep the machine makes before opening it. Now it make 3 beep just like a microwave oven before opening the door. only one long or two beep would be enough. Thnak you all

And....So you just heard it ...... sometimes when you buy a used machine there is many options present for the convenience of the preceeding owner and you have to deal with. Personnaly at the beginning, i wished to remove this feature, but maybe my boss plan to add a Fanuc arm robot. For now i have to deal with ... autodoor, and finally i dont think this is unusual without a robot. Its just another way to operate. The only thing i wish and this dont change my mind if there is a ROBOT or not but the door is long to open.

Thank you for your answer

our Integrex 300 MK-IV also has a auto door with NO robot the auto door is a( pain in the ass) (PITA) but like Pete said you have to deal with what you have.
and we were the ones who ordered the machine that way from the factory only because the boss came over to our previous Integrex 300 MK-111 machine and open the door and said Christ this door is heavy

Now you make me feel bad for hacking my own auto door interface... almost. I quite like being able to walk up to the machine, and just grab a finished part. Both doors are already open.

I never thought of the door beeping option. I'll be adding that next. Of course I'll add a switch to turn it off as well as an adjustable length audio alert.

I quite like the 2 second beep and light that sounds on cycle complete now. It lets me know the part is done, and it's not annoying if I don't have the time to deal with it immediately.

Look PLC Parameter Tim 79 ( M256 Delay ). It's the delay before start opening auto door.
Normally setting 60 I remember ( mean 6 seconds ). Setting 20 means just one beep.

Door open/close is controled by the same air cylinder, we are more concerned with it closing slowly, so people don't get their hands in the way.
