Servo Malfunction 2

Forums Member

Hello everyone!
I have a problem with my Integrex e-410H and can't figure out what causes it.
During machining or even when the machine stands still I sometimes get the alarm:

33 Servo Malfunction 2 (&00000051, &0001, )

and the turret falls on the X axis a few millimeters before the brakes catch it...

It's very annoying because I destroy tools or parts when this happens when machining.
Oil levels are OK, machine is OK otherwise..

Please HELP!

From the Mazak manual:

33 SERVO MALFUNCTION 2 ( , , ) C H O Red
Cause The servo (NC reset level) is abnormal.
Action Contact Mazak Technical Center or Technology Center.

Where is the NC reset level and what can I check? What should I look for?

After reading through 100 forums I found that while standing, the DROOP value for every axis should be 0. At my machine the X axis has a droop value of 120-210. If I move up and leave it, it stops at 210, if I move down and leave it I get 120-140...

Where can I find the procedure to get this DROOP to zero again?

I thnik you have a X-axis brake problem. What about the load on X-axis, when you move it in manual mode?More load as usual? What about the sound when you move the X-axis in rapid up and down? What about the heat, can you put the hand on the motor and hold it for 3 sek?
I would check the electrical side first, from AP board, cable, to the brake.
If the issue is happening allways, check also the coupling, maybe it's loose.
