Sorry everyone that this is not an Integrex question BUT you folks have sooo much knowledge/experience that I hope you will have an answer on this?

Rotary joint assembly that goes at the rear of the spindle to deliver air for tool changes - Mazak part # H50RK007350, parts book says Rix Corp ESX20-8686. Mazak price is an absurd $1,3530.00!!!...fits in the palm of your CHILD'S hand!

i feel sorry for you but this is all I can offer. i've contacted Rix Mfg directly but they only manufacture these parts for Mazak. these are proprietory parts for Mazak. By the way, that price is not only for one carbide but for two complete pieces. you will need to replace a carbide on the draw bar as well as on the through coolant cylinder. i hope this comforts you :)

We had to replace one of those little boogers on one of our Variaxis and I was quite surprised at the cost. It does seal 400 psi coolant at top spindle speed though (12,000 RPM). But when they fail coolant get everywhere and not on the part you are machining.

I did not think it was made from carbide some sort of ceramic or cermet the thing was quite light.
